Body Styles

The new 2017 BMW 6 Series is available in four distinct body styles: Coupe, Gran Coupe (4-door sedan), Convertible, and Alpina B6 Gran Coupe. The 6 Series Coupe and Convertible are similar in size and stature, as well as their well-equipped interiors, while the new Gran Coupe and Alpina B6 stand alone. The Coupe and Convertible are both available in either the 640i or 650i trims. The 6 Series Gran Coupe is also available in both a 640i and 650i model, while the Alpina B6 Gran Coupe is available as just one well-equipped model.

Luxurious Features

2017 6 Series 640i Coupe and Convertible: Both the standard 640i Coupe and Convertible offer similar standard features, including: a sport exhaust system, automatic adaptive LED headlights, adaptive suspension dampers, front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry and ignition, ambient interior lighting, driver memory functions, leather upholstery, dual zone automatic climate control and a rearview camera, just to name a few. Standard technology features include: Bluetooth audio and hands-free phone connectivity, a wireless charging pad, Wi-Fi hotspot, iDrive interface with a 10.2-inch display, a navigation system, voice activation, nine speaker sound system, and more. Available packages include the Driver Assistance Plus package, the Executive package, Cold Weather package, Black Accent package, Individual Composition package, and M Sport package.

2017 6 Series 640i Gran Coupe: The new 6 Series Gran Coupe offers all of the same standard features as the 640i Coupe, only with more optional features, including suspension stabilizer bars, integral active steering, a night-vision camera, automated parallel parking assist, and a 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen surround-sound audio system, among others.

2017 6 Series Alpina B6 Gran Coupe: Standard features include: 20-inch wheels, unique exterior styling, adaptive sport -tuned suspension, plus many of the same features that are standard in the 640i Coupe and Gran Coupe.

Safety Features

Standard safety features for every 2017 BMW 6 Series include: antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front, side, knee airbags, and BMW assist emergency communications system.
