Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has backed Gabriel Jesus to be ready to face Arsenal in the EFL Cup final after been sidelined for two months with a knee injured.
The Catalan in his pre-match press conference confirmed both Jesus and Leroy Sane will be fit to face Arsenal at Wembley on Sunday.
He said: “I think they will be ready to play, if I let them,” said Guardiola. “They will be fit. Leroy because he is a little bit better and Gabriel because it is mentality.
“He is a young guy and he is strong. He is a guy who will be ready.”
The Carabao Cup final against Arsenal will be his first final since he was appointed City’s manager.
